A special focus: teen girls
The teenage years ask a great deal of a girl, in body and in mind. For one it shows up in her cycle. For another it is anxiety humming under everything, sleep that never quite restores, skin, energy, or a change that arrived after a hard year and quietly stayed. Whatever the shape of it, she is often told the same thing: that she is simply growing up. Up to 92 percent of young Australian women report period pain, and those with significant pain are up to five times more likely to miss school. Yet so often, what a girl hears about her own body is that she is fine.
Common is not the same as normal. If your daughter is planning her life around her period, her moods, or her exhaustion, that is her body asking a question. She deserves an adult who goes looking for the answer.
The gap nobody talks about
Here is what the research now says out loud. Teen girls are the group most likely to have their symptoms waved away. Period pain gets called normal. Exhaustion gets called laziness. Anxiety gets called a phase. Australia’s own medical journal has described adolescent period pain as a neglected area of care. And endometriosis takes an average of seven years to diagnose, which means the clock usually starts with a teenager being told her pain is normal.
I meet the other end of that story in clinic: women in their thirties and forties whose health traces back to a question nobody asked when they were fourteen.
The teen years are not something to simply get through. They are the foundation years. Her cycle is finding its rhythm, her nervous system is still being built, and she is deciding, mostly without words, whether her body is something to listen to or something to silence. This is the window where careful, whole-person attention matters most. Not because anything is promised, but because a girl who is heard at fourteen does not have to spend her forties going back for the questions nobody asked.
That is the gap Gather exists to bridge.
How I work with teen girls
Girls rarely arrive with one neat problem. More often several things are tangled together at once, and no single one of them explains the rest. These are not separate problems. They are one girl, and her body is telling one story. Classical homeopathy was built for precisely this kind of listening.
For teen girls, the Term of Care is where I recommend beginning.
When something never quite settled afterwards
There is a question I ask in almost every case: has she been fully herself since something happened?
A fall from a horse. A car accident. A serious illness or a long course of medication. A surgery. A bereavement, a frightening event, a friendship that turned cruel, a shock nobody thought she was old enough to register. In classical homeopathy we pay close attention to these moments, because so often a young person’s health can be traced back to one of them. The body carried on, but something did not fully return to how it was.
Parents describe it in almost identical words. She has never really been the same since. The sleep changed after that year. The headaches started after the concussion. She was such a confident kid before it happened.
This is some of the most careful work I do, and it is one of the reasons I take a full history rather than a symptom list. Where there has been trauma, grief or a significant event, homeopathy sits alongside psychological care rather than in place of it, and I will always say so plainly. If your daughter needs a psychologist, a GP or another specialist, that conversation happens at the first appointment, not the fifth.
The whole family is welcome here
Teen girls are where my heart and my clinic have settled, but they have never been the whole of it. Homeopathy is family medicine at its core, and it always has been. Mothers come for themselves, often after their daughters. Fathers come once they have seen the change at home. Younger children, grandparents, the whole spread of a household and its ordinary complaints all have a place in my clinic.
Wherever you are in your family, and whatever has brought you looking, you are welcome to begin with a free chat, and we will work out together whether this is the right fit.
Services & Offerings
Homeopathy isn’t a one stop shop. It’s a commitment, a gradual and layered movement toward better health that honours the intelligence of the body and the depth of the story it’s telling. Symptoms aren’t the enemy. They’re the body’s way of saying something deeper wants to be heard.

Term of Care — $395
Initial Consult + Two Follow-Up Consults, your most considered way to begin
One initial consult and two follow-ups, spaced about five to six weeks apart. That’s roughly a school term, which is no accident. Real change takes a season, not a single appointment, and these three conversations give the remedy time to act, be assessed properly, and be refined where needed. It’s how I recommend everyone begins, whether the case is yours or someone you love. Remedies are charged additionally. Available as a single upfront payment.
Continuing Care — $300
Three follow-up consults, for returning clients
For clients continuing past their first term. Three follow-ups, spaced to suit, as the work consolidates. Most cases run one to three terms depending on how long the body’s been asking its question.
Initial Consult — $220
Approximately 90 minutes, in clinic, via Zoom, or in-home (within 15km of Samford Valley; travel fee applies beyond)
Your initial consultation is where everything begins. This is an unhurried, deeply attentive conversation, one that takes the time to hear your story in full. We explore not only your presenting symptoms, but the full landscape of your health: your history, your patterns, your energy, your emotions, your sleep, and the way you move through the world. In classical homeopathy, the whole person is the patient, not a diagnosis, not a list of conditions, but a living, breathing individual with a completely unique expression of health and imbalance.
From this depth of understanding, a single carefully chosen remedy is prescribed, one that matches you as a whole person. Each case is supported by experienced clinical guidance, ensuring every prescription is made with the precision and care this system of medicine demands. This is where the story begins.
Follow-Up Consult — $110
45 to 60 minutes, in clinic or via Zoom
After your remedy has had time to work, typically four to six weeks, we meet again to assess how your system has responded. Follow-up consultations are a vital and non-negotiable part of the work. This is where the real work of classical homeopathy reveals itself: in the careful observation of what has shifted, what has softened, what has emerged, and what the body is still asking for.
Some changes are obvious: symptoms that have eased, energy that has returned, sleep that has improved. Others are subtler: a sense of feeling more like yourself, steadier moods, a quiet resilience you hadn’t noticed was missing. Together we review these changes, refine the prescription where needed, and keep the momentum of the work moving forward. This is not a passive process. It’s a collaborative one, and your follow-up appointments are where we truly tend the work together.
Acute Consult — $110
For self-limiting illness, via video call, from the comfort of your home
When life brings a sudden cold, a stomach bug, a fever, a bout of gastro, or one of those draining acute illnesses that knock you off your feet and out of your life, this is where homeopathy shines. Acute consults are designed for self-limiting conditions: illnesses that your body is already working to resolve, but that can be supported gently, effectively, and without harsh intervention.
These appointments are conducted via video call, so there is no need to leave the house when you’re already unwell. A carefully matched remedy is prescribed based on your specific, individual expression of the illness, because even in acute conditions, homeopathy treats the person, not just the bug. A well-matched remedy is intended to support your body’s own recovery, gently, and alongside your usual medical care. The price reflects what acute care really involves. It rarely ends with one call, so check-ins as the illness moves are included.
There’s no private health rebate for homeopathy in Australia, so I’ll never pretend otherwise. What you’re paying for is time and attention that a standard consultation simply cannot offer.
My practice is supported by the guidance of one of Australia’s most respected classical homeopaths, ensuring every case I take on is approached with the highest standard of care.
About me.. and why Gather.
Homeopathy has been woven into my life for as long as I can remember. My mother used it in our home when I was growing up, and from the time I was 19 I was fascinated by how such a subtle medicine could create such profound change.
Back then, I experienced something that completely altered my understanding of health. I suffered from chronic hayfever for years, nothing touched it. I lived on antihistamines until one day, my homeopath prescribed me a single remedy. I wish I could remember which one it was, I’d love to know now, but I’ll never forget what happened next. From that day, more than twenty years ago, I never had hayfever again.
Life, of course, took me elsewhere for a time. I let go of my dream to study homeopathy and followed other paths. But here I am, at 44, a little wiser, a mother of three daughters raised holistically, and I’ve come home to what always called me.
Since becoming a mother, I’ve been deeply committed to health and wellness, to understanding what truly supports the human body, and what simply distracts or sells to it. I’ve seen every fad and trend come and go: the diets, detoxes, supplements, and “quick fixes.” And while I’ve learned from many of them, what I know to be true is that real healing isn’t found in the next trend. It’s found in working with the laws of nature and the intelligence of the body, not against them.
When I finally decided to return to formal study, I knew I wanted to do it properly, not casually, not halfway. I chose to train with one of the most respected homeopathic institutions in the world, under Professor George Vithoulkas, whose work represents the most rigorous and scientific approach to Classical Homeopathy alive today.
I chose this path because I see how easily homeopathy is misunderstood or diluted, how often remedies are used, but not truly prescribed homeopathically. This system of medicine is serious, scientific, and rooted in natural laws. It deserves to be practiced with integrity, precision, and depth.
That’s why I created Gather, to bring that level of understanding and care into the modern world. Gather is a space where science meets soul, where symptoms are listened to rather than silenced, and where the whole person is honoured in the process of healing.
It’s both a continuation of my own story, and a place for others to begin theirs.
A special focus: teen girls and their mothers
While I love working with people from all walks of life, my clinic has drawn me somewhere particular: teenage girls, and the mothers beside them. It wasn’t a direction I planned. The mothers simply kept bringing me their daughters, girls with cycles that flattened them, worry that ran quietly through the household, exhaustion no one could explain. As a mother of three girls myself, I understood the assignment.
There is a reason this work matters most in these years. A mother’s wellbeing shapes the rhythm of her whole household, and a daughter’s does too. When a daughter begins to steady, the change rarely stops with her, it moves through the mother, the siblings, and the atmosphere of the home itself. I’ve had the privilege of watching that unfold many times.
I remain, at heart, a family homeopath. Mothers, siblings and fathers tend to follow their daughters in, and all are welcome here.
What is homeopathy?
Homeopathy is a complete system of medicine that works with the body’s innate intelligence, supporting its own capacity to re-balance. It recognises that every symptom, whether physical, emotional, or mental, is the body’s way of expressing an underlying disturbance. Rather than suppressing those symptoms, homeopathy seeks to understand their pattern, and use it as a guide to treatment.
Developed more than 200 years ago by the German physician Samuel Hahnemann, homeopathy is based on the scientific principle of “like cures like.” This means a substance that can cause particular symptoms in a healthy person can, when prepared in minute doses, prompt a response from the body in illness.
Homeopathic medicines are derived from natural sources, plants, minerals, and elements, and are prepared through a precise process of dilution and succussion (vigorous shaking). This process doesn’t weaken them, but instead refines their energetic and therapeutic properties, allowing them to act gently yet deeply at a dynamic level of the organism.
Homeopathy is individualised medicine, no two people are treated in the same way, even if they share the same diagnosis. Each person’s unique expression of illness, temperament, and history is considered in finding the single remedy that most closely matches their overall state.
When well prescribed, the aim is a gradual movement toward better health: not only an easing of symptoms, but often a steadier sense of stability, vitality and wellbeing.
At Gather, homeopathy is practiced as both a science and an art, guided by observation, experience, and the natural laws that govern healing. It is a medicine that respects the wisdom of the body, honours the whole person, and reminds us that true health is the harmony of all parts working together.
What Homeopathy Can Help With
Homeopathy sees you as a whole, not as separate parts to fix, but as one connected system.
Your mind, emotions, and body are always in conversation with each other. When one part is under strain, the others respond.
Things tend to ease when that communication clears, when every part of you begins working together again.
In classical homeopathy, the mental sphere is seen as the deepest region of health, where clarity, purpose, and creativity live.
Next comes the emotional sphere, where we experience and process feeling.
And finally, the physical sphere, where imbalance often becomes visible through symptoms.
Change usually begins from within: clearer thoughts, steadier emotions, and then a body that starts to follow.
Physical Health
My work is with the person, not the diagnosis.
Families commonly come to the clinic wanting support alongside their usual medical care with things like:
Hormonal and menstrual concerns
PMS, peri-menopause, fatigue
Digestive issues, reflux, bloating, sluggish metabolism
Recurrent infections, ear, sinus, urinary, tonsil
Allergies, hay fever, asthma
Skin conditions, eczema, acne, psoriasis, molluscum
Headaches, migraines, post-viral fatigue
Sleep disturbances and low vitality
Rather than chasing symptoms, the work is with the body’s own intelligence.
Emotional Health
Feeling deeply is healthy. It’s part of being human.
We don’t treat emotions themselves, and we don’t aim to remove them.
Where homeopathy helps is when an emotion becomes stuck, when it stays too long, feels too heavy, or begins to limit everyday life.
Alongside your usual care, this might look like:
Grief that doesn’t move
Fear that stops you from living freely
Anger or resentment that keeps resurfacing
Constant tension or overwhelm that never resets
Burnout or emotional flatness
As things begin to ease, people often describe feeling lighter, clearer and more at ease in themselves.
Mental Health
The mind is the deepest and most sensitive part of our health.
It shapes how we see, choose, and respond to life.
When it becomes unsettled, we may lose clarity, perspective, or creativity, all signs the system needs gentle re-organisation.
People often come wanting steadier ground with things like:
Anxiety or constant restlessness
Depression or loss of motivation
Chronic stress, confusion, or indecision
Overactive thoughts or poor concentration
Sleep disturbed by worry or mental tension
As the mind steadies, energy becomes available again for what truly matters, connection, expression, and creativity.
Creativity, in its broadest sense, is one of the highest signs of health: the ability to think clearly, respond freely, and bring new life to whatever you touch.
Homeopathy supports the whole person. It doesn’t replace medical diagnosis or treatment, and I’ll always say so when a case needs a doctor first.
“The long term benefit of homeopathy to the patient is that it not only alleviates the presenting symptoms, but it re-establishes internal order at the deepest levels and thereby provides a lasting cure."
George Vithoulkas
FAQs
Do you replace our GP?
No. You keep your GP. Some things need medical care first and I’ll always say so. If I think your daughter needs a GP or specialist, I’ll tell you at the first appointment, not the fifth.
What happens during an initial consultation?
Your consultation is an unhurried conversation. We explore your physical symptoms, emotional wellbeing, mental patterns, sleep, energy, and life history, everything that helps me understand your individual expression of health. From there, a remedy is prescribed that matches you as a whole, not just your condition.
What’s the difference between “homeopathy” and “natural medicine”?
Homeopathy is a distinct, scientific system of medicine with its own principles, methods, and laws of healing. While remedies are prepared from natural substances, homeopathy itself is not a “natural therapy” in the casual sense. It’s a precise medical art rooted in scientific observation and centuries of clinical experience.
How soon will I notice results?
That depends on the nature of your condition and your overall vitality. Some people notice subtle shifts within days, while others experience gradual improvement over weeks. Change tends to unfold in layers. The aim is steady progress, not quick suppression of symptoms.
My daughter won’t talk. Will this still work?
Often, yes. Teenagers who have gone quiet with their parents will frequently open up to an adult who isn’t marking them, managing them, or judging them. And much of the first appointment is spent listening to you as well, a mother’s observations are some of the most valuable case information I receive.
What is a remedy made from?
Homeopathic remedies are derived from natural sources, plants, minerals, and elements, and prepared through a precise process of serial dilution and succussion (vigorous shaking). This process refines their energetic properties, allowing them to act gently yet deeply within the body’s healing system.
Why choose homeopathy?
Homeopathy looks beyond diagnosis to understand why symptoms appear and how your body expresses imbalance. The aim is not only easing discomfort, but supporting a gradual return toward steadiness, resilience and clarity.
Is homeopathy safe?
Yes. When practiced by a well-qualified homeopath, homeopathy is a very safe and gentle system of medicine. Remedies are non-toxic and prepared in such a way that only their energetic properties remain, not the crude substance itself. They work by stimulating the body’s own mechanisms for healing, rather than by suppressing symptoms or forcing a chemical reaction.
Because homeopathy acts at a dynamic level of the organism, it can be used safely for people of all ages, from infants to the elderly, and even during pregnancy, when prescribed appropriately.
That said, the skill of the practitioner is what ensures safety and effectiveness. A well-trained homeopath understands not only how to match the correct remedy, but also how to assess when a case requires medical referral or collaborative care.
At Gather, my practice is founded on rigorous, internationally recognised training under Professor George Vithoulkas, ensuring that every case is approached with the precision, depth, and clinical understanding this system of medicine deserves.
